RANJIT AHUJA  

 

My Professional Education has been in Design and Visual Communication in India 1973-1977 and I developed a greater interest in Black and White Photography and its lab processes.

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (1979) from Syracuse University, NY USA, Department of Experimental Studios.

I worked in B&W labs for over 20 years and around 15 years in Digital Imaging for press in the USA.

It would be safe to assume that my imagery is a combination of these professional pursuits.

On a philosophical level my imagery is a combination of “abstraction and reality” and seek to involve the viewer in my Visual studies between the “scientific and the artistic “forms of communication.

I would like to research newer printing methods for superior artistic presentations and work on collaborative projects with writers and artists.

Being invited to Blanca, Spain is a major inspiration in my artistic endeavors.

I was born in Ajmer, India and currently reside and work in Atlanta, USA
